IT’S A TAKEOVER! What to expect this weekend

This weekend’s Gallagher Premiership fixture against Exeter Chiefs is a Foundation Takeover, seeing The Harlequins Foundation show off some of the outstanding work they do in our local community, as well as giving you the opportunity to get involved.

Fans will get the chance to see a range of Foundation themed activations around the ground with the “Girls Who Dare” team, who are competing an epic challenge to row across the Pacific, showcasing the boat they will use for the journey, allowing people to get inside and see where the girls will be living for almost two months at sea.

At half-time there will be a presentation with staff from the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme, with us becoming the only club in the Gallagher Premiership currently licensed to deliver the award. There will be a Q&A with Mark Kilgallon, our Education Officer, and the Duke of Edinburgh team.

We will also be hosting our very own Harlequins legend Ollie Kohn at our Rival Ride tent, where fans will be able to learn more about the challenge and how they can get involved, as well as getting on a bike themselves and trying out the skills on two wheels!

You can also support The Harlequins Foundation through their Online Auction, where they have some great prizes including a signed Joe Marler shirt, tickets to see England V Wales in the Guinness Six Nations, and many more. Head to the dedicated  auction website to place your bids today.

This week’s cup deposits will be donated to the Harlequins Foundation Wheelchair Rugby Team, ‘The Jesters’. Thee specialist chairs required to play wheelchair rugby are on loan from GB Wheelchair Rugby and over the course of the next six months will need to be replaced, each chair cost in the region of £4,000. You can support The Jesters today by placing your cup in one of The Harlequins Foundation’s Cup Collection Bins to donate your deposit.

We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday!
