Wheelchair Rugby

Wheelchair rugby

At the back end of 2019 The Harlequins Foundation launched our first ever senior wheelchair rugby team where Harlequins men’s starts Mike Brown and Mark Lambert were in attendance.

Mike Brown is the Foundation’s Disability and Inclusion Ambassador and is extremely excited to be a part of the programme.

The Harlequins Wheelchair Rugby team ‘The Jesters’ are fully inclusive for males and females 15+ who wish to be active, competitive, learn new skills, make new friend and have loads of fun.

A mix of experienced and new players make for a really comfortable, positive environment.

The Harlequins Foundation also plan to offer junior wheelchair rugby in the near future.

Day/ Time–  Wednesday evenings 6pm-8pm

Venue– Hampton Sports and Fitness Centre, Hanworth Road, Hampton TW12 3HB

All sessions are run by fully qualified Harlequins Foundation coaches.

If you are a wheelchair user or have a physical impairment (non wheelchair users welcome) and are interested in giving wheelchair rugby a go, or if you are a wheelchair rugby team looking to arrange friendly fixtures then please send your inquiries to foundation@nullquins.co.uk
