The coronavirus crisis has affected everyone\u2019s lives, but for the most vulnerable in our area: isolated elderly people, those caring for a loved one, children with disabilities, families struggling financially and those already coping with poor mental health, the impact has been devastating.<\/p>\n
In these challenging times, Hampton Fund<\/a> and RPLC<\/a> have launched the oneRichmond Covid-19 Appeal.<\/p>\n Local charities are under increasing pressure due to the loss of income through Covid-19 and yet face an increased demand for services and, for some, to re-think how they deliver their services.<\/p>\n We may be taking steps to ease out of lockdown, but the crisis faced by many is continuing.<\/p>\n With the support of the local community, the oneRichmond COVID-19 appeal is working to sustain vital projects and services most affected by loss of income during the pandemic, supporting the most vulnerable in our community.<\/p>\n Every pound donated will be doubled \u2013 up to \u00a3100,000.<\/p>\n Donations will be doubled by local grant makers Hampton Fund and RPLC, up to \u00a3100,000.<\/p>\n So, not only will your donation be worth twice as much it will make double the impact. We aim to raise \u00a3200,000 by the end of October to support our local charities who are working so hard to improve people\u2019s lives and opportunities and create a better community for us all.<\/p>\n
